That's when I realized, it's not the flash, it's the HOST.

    Ho Ho... I'm the HOST.

(A downside of doing your own web-hosting, intimate knowledge of your IIS server is required).

If you're reading this trying to figure out why flash files aren't be served on a Windows IIS 6 server, read this: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/194/tn_19439.html or, here, I'll paste it here:

You basically need to define the MIME type.  Here's how:

    1. On the Windows 2003 server, open the Internet Information Services Manager.
    2. Expand the Local Computer Server.
    3. Right-click the local computer server and select Properties.
    4. Select the MIME Types tab.
    5. Click New and enter the following information:
          • Associated Extension box: .FLV
          • MIME Type box:flv-application/octet-stream
    Click OK.
Restart the World Wide Web Publishing service.

    Here's a screen shot:

A good website template shouldn't move, rock, tilt, rattle.  When a user clicks through it's pages, horizontally, the size template should not move. It should be planted stiff and only grow vertically.

If you experience a hop, like I did, it's because of the browser's scrollbar appearing and disappearing. Here's how to enable a scroll bar at all times:

    html {overflow-y: scroll;}

Put that in your style sheet and thank me later,

    Enjoy.

P.s. Thanks to Dmitry and Faramarz for helping me find the problem, write the source code.

Summer of 2009, those squeaks, after each step, came from these. 2009 Alpinestars SMX motorcycle track boots. I got a good deal on them! That's why.  And incredibly safer, compared to 'urban/low cut' moto shoes, actually, that's really why.

Captured by the iPhone 3G, edited in Photoshop.

Those are my feet, at some gas station in Mississauga. I'm waiting for the guy front of pay for his fuel. I checked my SMS, nothing new to reply to. I had nothing else to do, but take a picture of these bored pair of boots.

Sunday, I was telling my nephew Saeed to try ginger after each round of sushi "it reboots your taste buds" clears and freshens them for the soft and slippery sashimi, for example, that was marinating in a puddle of soy and wasabi until I finished the Spicy Tuna rolls.

It was mother's day, the mom's in my family, and the kids (yes, I'm one of them) were at an Asian restaurant busy with chop sticks and a table decorated with colorful food.

I pinched a layer of pink ginger with my sticks, "this is how you do it"  I showed Saeed.  I looked up and dropped it my mouth. I'm terrible at expressing my taste buds, but the best I can describe ginger as is as hot, but cold (like mint), spicy and stingy.

It cleared my mouth. I reached for the sashimi.

It's Monday now, I'm at the office, with a desktop full of fresh tasks and news feeds to process.  After sending a couple essential, heated emails, I have difficulties now, like now... motivating myself to move on to the next task.

What comes to mind is ginger. I need a ritual to clear the mind after each bang-bang, and move on to the next bang-bang.  Otherwise, while I work on the second round of bangs, my mind is still analyzing the previous bang.

Oddly, typing this blog entry... has helped, ok back to work,

    Bang bang.
